Your mission:
As’social care assistant, You will work in the homes of elderly people, families, or people who are ill or disabled and who have difficulty maintaining their homes.
Your role is essential: you actively contribute to home care beneficiaries by providing them with a clean, secure living environment that respects their habits, while promoting their independence.
You work in the presence of the beneficiary, in their best interests and with respect for their choices and dignity.
Your responsibilities:
Home maintenance
- Organise your work according to the instructions given by the social worker.
- Use the products and maintenance equipment provided by the beneficiary appropriately.
- Apply appropriate maintenance techniques
- Adapt to the beneficiary's habits and pace of life
Support and prevention
- Be mindful of the beneficiary's overall situation (hygiene, safety, home layout).
- Encouraging the maintenance, development or restoration of independence
- Listen attentively and show kindness
- Integrate your action into a preventive approach
- Collaborate with the team and internal partners
Your profile:
- You have a private vehicle
- You are in possession of a APE passport
- You are able to work in a autonomous, whilst working as part of a team
- You demonstrate interpersonal skills, communication and discretion
- You respect the ethical rules
- Do you enjoy working in interdisciplinarity
